Will Irons has been an avid explorer of the World’s Wisdom Traditions for more than three decades. He has degrees in philosophy and nursing, and has worked as a science teacher and a naturalist. Irons has also been a dedicated practitioner of presence-centered meditation for many years—mostly discovered and cultivated in the wild places of Colorado these days. He served for two years in Panama, Central America, as a volunteer in the Peace Corps, where he taught environmental education and wrote a marine environmental education teaching guide in collaboration with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Irons presently lives and writes in Fort Collins, Colorado.
